What does your septic inspection include?
Two parts. We run a camera through the building sewer from inside the house toward the tank and record its condition: roots, cracks, sags, separated joints and blockages. We also coordinate the licensed SSTS compliance inspection of the tank and soil treatment area, so the whole septic picture is booked and scheduled together.
Is a septic inspection required when a house sells in Minnesota?
It depends on the county. Many Minnesota counties require a compliance inspection at the time of sale; others require one only in shoreland areas or leave it to the lender. Ask the county's environmental services office early, because a failing system can change the terms of a sale.
Can I book the septic inspection with the home inspection?

What are signs of septic trouble?
