Scandia was New Scandia Township for many years and became a city on January 1, 2007, so older records may be held by the township, the city, or Washington County. Ask the city office first, then the county. A missing record does not mean the work was not done. It means the inspection has to establish what has been changed, so we look for signs of past additions and repairs.
Does a very old Scandia farmhouse need a different kind of inspection?
